BAGS OF HUGS
Bringing Love One Bag at a Time
Adventists in Action is committed to helping the neediest among the Champaign-Urbana area community. Bags of Hugs is a ministry where we visit low-income communities on Saturday afternoons or other days that is not allow to go on Saturday to bring bag lunches and fellowship with the residents. We adapt our program according to the place that we go. We would love your help, whether it is in terms of time preparing and delivering the lunches, or in donations of funds to cover the cost of the meals. Let us know what you would like to do! BUNNY THERAPY
Bringing Love One Bunny at a Time
Adventists in Action is all about spreading love in the community! We tailor our programs to suit the needs of our community members. At the University of Illinois, we know that being away from home and having the burden of exams can be tough on students. That's why we're offering bunny therapy as an "all-natural" stress-relief treatment! Several times throughout the semester we bring our bunnies to the university so that students can enjoy a moment of happiness petting and hugging them. All new this year, we are also going to the Juvenile Detention Center in Urbana to serve the youth there! Click More Details below for pictures and info.
Visits to Nursing Homes

Every month we visit Helia nursing home to give a mini-concert for the residents and fellowship with them.
We love to see the smiles on their faces because of the joy they receive from our company. We are on the look our for singers and musicians who would like to accompany us as we perform classic hymns for the residents. Get in touch with us to see when we will visit next.
Christmas Programs
Bringing Love One Gift at a Time
We named this section Emmanuel, God with us because God shows His love for the whole world. Even when we don't know exactly when Jesus was born, we know that He was born to saved the whole world. God is with us and with you! We would like to introduce: Operation Christmas Child, Angel Tree and a Gift For You programs and opportunities to continue spreading the love of Christ in the community and in the whole world! Praise the Lord! For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16.
